This evening I am going with a group of backpackers to the unique Minus 5 ice bar of Queenstown.

The ice bar is a very large fridge kept at a temperature of 8 degrees Celsius. Before entering, you dress with siberian like coats, gloves and hat (shoes are available too for those coming in snikers).

You can stay 30 minutes inside and got a free cocktail dring in a real ice glass. Everything in the bar is made of ice: the brick walls the benches, the tables and the sculptures!

For 25NZ$, I really enjoyed it and the staff was very friendly. I would recommend the mango cocktail.
